Gambit - 2008
Did Brad Pitt wait to jump Angelina Jolie’s bones until after he had split with his wife of five years Jennifer Aniston? He would like you to believe that. Reports when Pitt and Jolie were working on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith painted a picture that led to Pitt’s nickname of Brad the cad. His co-star Vince Vaughn even reportedly told the wandering Pitt to “go home to his wife.”
But a report that will hit this week has quotes from Pitt where he tries to spin his feelings for Jolie as being put on hold until after he told Jennifer he was finished with her.
In what may be the most laughable quote yet to come out of the mess that is the still going triangle between Jolie-Pitt and Aniston. “The most important thing about that time was for Jen and me to figure out if — how do I put it? — if we didn’t want to go on without any outside influence. Is this where we got off? Have we taken this as far as we wanted to? Those questions had to be answered before an attraction for Angie could be answered.”
Lost in translation? It certainly seems like Brad Pitt had the hots for Angelina Jolie and was ready to get busy. Unfortunately he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. So of course he had to go break up with Jen before he could really carry on with Ang as the rumors were everywhere. I wonder if that’s how Pitt presented it?
Did Brad tell Jen - ‘Hey baby - I know we are married and all but this Jolie chick is smoking hot. So - I’m thinking we can split so I can have a free shot at her - what do you think Jen?’

I have been waiting a long time to speak my peace about Jennifer, Brad and Angelina. I am such a Jen Aniston fan and am so appauled about Brad and Angelina. I have boycotted all movies these two are in, that’s how discusted I am. Jennifer, I have never met but you can tell she is a very sweet and emotional person. It was wrong of Brad to do this to her. I will watch and enjoy anything Jen does and why is Angelina so mad and hateful towards Jennifer? Jennifer is the victim here not Angelina. I applaude Jen for staying friends with Brads mom, friends are friends, so Angelina get over it……… I hope now Jen see’s how better off she is without this man. Blaming Angelina for Brad and Jen’s failed Marriage is so stupid and childish…If you want someone to blame Brad…If Brad left..it was because he did not love her anymore..Would you want him to stay with her and fuck around?..I think not..Angelina does not hide behind her charity she has been active before Brad in her duties to the causes she supports…
Jen is ..well….she has her career and her life in Hollywood..If she seems miserable is because she is..She can only blame herself for her sad state..Every time i see her she looks miserable….I too can blame the world for things not even to me or done too me..But in the end..We all have to look inside of ourselves and see what part we played in the cause ands effect of our lives….Sure go ahead..you all can blame Brad for being with Angie…the world will go on…Brad love Angie..and if he didn’t leave Jenn for Angie it would have been someone else..Would it have better for it to be some other woman?

this whole site is a laugh… Nic, thanks for bringing some sense to this page. First of all… psychos…. you cant call her jennie, cause her stage name is Jen, “jennie” just makes you sound like a wierd stalker… her #1 fan. Freaky.
Nics right, Brad didnt love her, he found Angelina and the two of them havent stopped smiling (or having sex apparently) since they’ve met… kudos to true love. Awesome for them. As far as Jen, yes shes cute and appears “sweet” but who the hell knows? Only her friends and people who have met her… which would be none of us. She COULD be a major bitch on wheels.
Agree YET AGAIN with Nic, Jen looks MISERABLE in EVERY picture ever taken of her, and maybe thats how the horrible media want to portray her, but hey… lets face it, Brad told her YEARS ago he wanted kids… well, now hes got em< LOTS of em. Sorry for jen, but she too will find the one for her… hopefully her career ambition wont get in the way.
