LORDY, LORDY, THIS WOMAN IS 40
Thursday, December 11th, 2008
Sure, the ultimate Girl Next Door actually lives next to a permanent colony of paparazzi, and yeah, the relationship thing hasn’t exactly been a fairy tale. But Jennifer Aniston is in control (does that look like a body under duress?), overhauling her image (she’s ready to play a cougar!), and getting what she needs from a notorious swordsman eight years her junior (not that there’s anything wrong with that)
By Mark KirbyIt’s a sunny afternoon in late October, and Jennifer Aniston and I are having lunch inside the bright, modern Beverly Hills home she uses as an office, talking about the 24/7 unscripted drama—call it The Jen Show—whose mobile production unit is parked right out front. Arriving for our meeting, I’d watched three paparazzi SUVs speed by, rip some Grand Theft Auto–style doughnuts in the street, and station their vehicles facing downhill, positioned for pursuit. There seem to be about a half-dozen paps outside—a slow day on the set. Last week’s episode, “The One Where Jen and John Mayer Get Back Together,” drew twenty men who trailed her constantly, jockeying for those exclusive photos of the couple that have fetched as much as $20,000. Today’s crew are just staffers, guys who stalk Aniston full-time for photo agencies like X17.
“Yesterday I pulled up to one truck and rolled down my window,” she says, leaning in. “I go, ‘Let me just ask, this is every day? Every day now? Is there a way we could make this a little bit saner?’ It’s just not human to walk around with twenty cars following you—there’s no ease. Maybe they do want you to get all Mariah Carey on yourself and be put into an institution. I miss the days when they hid in the bushes.”
Jen on January issue of GQ Magazine
Wednesday, December 10th, 2008Jen is looking hot on the January issue of GQ Magazine, but I gotta say, her face looks weird. Maybe it’s the resolution of the picture, or maybe they’ve just gotta stop photoshopping stuff. Anyway, I’ll post scans when I have them.

From SAWF News:
December 10, 2008 – Jennifer Aniston stripped to just a bright striped necktie as cover girl for the January issue of GQ.
In the accompanying interview, the 39-year-old actress was as forthright as she is naked on the cover.
She talked about her current romance with rocker John Mayer, 30, as well as the breakup of her marriage with Brad Pitt.
“I am not having his baby. And I have not popped the question,” she said of John Mayer.
But she is pretty sure about how she feels about him.
“Honestly, did not know much about him before I met him. I’d heard … you know, uh ‘Your Body’ – that song. But what I can say is that I had no idea what an extraordinary musician he is. And it’s just great to sit and be witness to that. It’s kind of like, Whoa!”
Aniston also referred to the controversy surrounding Angelina Jolie’s dramatic admission in an interview to NY Time, that she would like to add Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) to the list of nearly three dozen movies that her children have seen because “not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love.”
When asked to comment on the report, Aniston replied after a pause:
“Well, you know, that was definitely a confirmation for me of something that wasn’t quite confirmed at the time,” Jennifer told the GQ scribe. “But listen… You sit there and you… No. No daggers through the heart. I laugh. Am I surprised? Well, how do I say this?… Considering the source, nothing surprises me.”
Aniston confirmed that she and Pitt occasionally exchange pleasantries.
“We don’t not talk. When there’s something to congratulate or celebrate, there’s always an exchange,” she said. “But there’s no charge on it.”
She confirmed she does not speak with Jolie.
She then joking conjured a scenario of her out with Jolie and Pitt saying:
“The funny thing is, people don’t realize we all go away to The Hamptons on the weekends.
“Can you imagine?” she continued. “That’d be hysterical: I’ve got Zahara on my hip, and Knox…”
Marley & Me Press Conference
Monday, December 8th, 2008‘Marley’ stars Wilson, Aniston feel an animal attraction
Sunday, December 7th, 2008
By Kelley L. Carter, USA TODAY
The connection between Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson extends beyond the big screen, where they’re together for the first time in Marley & Me, out Christmas Day. They serve each other Diet Cokes, finish each other’s sentences and laugh knowingly as the other tells stories. Sharing the set with 22 dogs has a way of testing actors as it brings them closer, just as Marley does with the couple Aniston, 39, and Wilson, 40, play in the film.Q: Was there any specific moment when you realized you had great chemistry?
Aniston: It was an instant ease when we met and started rehearsing, and I think it’s rare. Sometimes you actually really like the person you are having good chemistry with. We lucked out. It was fun to be at work and play these people.
Wilson: I felt extra pressure that we got along, because I had so many friends that had worked with Jen, and everybody has said the same thing, how much they loved working with her. I didn’t want to be the one guy she hates!
