Jennifer Aniston Talks Love and Relationships
    Posted Oct 9th, 2009 in News0 Comments

Jennifer Aniston is the perfect spokeswoman for her new film.

A kind, caring actress, who’s keeping herself busy – she hasn’t let life and relationships get her down, and keep her from becoming a success.

On the set of her new movie, Love Happens, her and co-star Aaron Eckhart are clearly enjoying themselves, laughing in between each scene as Jen tells him what to do:

“Hold hands because we’ve got to that part now” she orders him.

Speaking about love she added: “I don’t think you can plan or control it, I think you have to be willing to take what comes and however it comes…”

And despite her much-publicised marriage breakdown with Brad Pitt and then with on-off boyfriend John Mayer, Aniston refuses to give ground with herself,

“I have a really great relationship with myself and that’s a lifelong process,” she says. “I have a great job, a great family and great friends.”

This hasn’t stopped her from being hurt about the breakdown of her relationshp with Brad Pitt.

Her new film, ‘Love Happens’ mirrors her own as lead ‘Eloise’ is a spirited florist in Seattle who after splitting up decides to focus on her business instead of relationships…

“It’s about two people who are starting a scary new beginning” she says.

She admits the film was “really unexpectedly, emotional, for me” adding that it’s not a typical love story but one worth pursuing…

However, when she first heard about the script she wasn’t keen on filming it:

“There wasn’t a lot of depth to Eloise and you didn’t root for her,” she explains. “But it is a beautiful idea that these two characters are out there fixing up other people but not really doing it for themselves.”

“So the script was changed and it got to a really nice place eventually.”

After a summer of filming ‘The Bounty’, it was reported that Jennifer was left in tears in one particular scene that reminded her of ex-husband Pitt.

Love Happens is out today, and Jennifer, is planning to take some time out after moving into her six-bedroom and seven-bathroom home in LA.

She is also beginning to work on her next project ‘The Goree Girls’ a musical centred on eight prison inmates who become a national sensation – one of the first all-female country and western singing groups in history.
