Aniston Set For Small Screen Comeback

Posted Oct 25th, 2009 in News0 Comments

Former Friends star Jennifer Aniston is headed back to the small screen to front a late-night show with Oprah Winfrey, according to a new report.

The actress is set to produce and star alongside the media mogul in a weekly programme broadcast on the Oprah Winfrey Network, a new channel set to launch in the U.S. next year (10).

It was Aniston’s friendship with comedienne Chelsea Handler, who fronts her own TV talk show, that inspired her to take on the project, according to Britain’s Sunday Express.
A source tells the publication, “Jen became fascinated with the format after spending time with Chelsea. When she saw Oprah she mentioned that it would be fun to do a chat show and Oprah seized the moment and suggested they front one together for her new network.”

Aniston, who is said to have a $210 million (£140 million) fortune, is still negotiating her salary, but reports suggest the new venture won’t yield her major earnings just yet.
The insider adds, “Her salary is yet to be determined. She is doing this for one reason only: She absolutely wants to do it.”

Jennifer Aniston’s Dog – Dying?

Posted Oct 24th, 2009 in News Rumors0 Comments

Jennifer Aniston’s dog is dying – help! Multiple news sources report that ‘The Baster’ star is worried about her ailing 14 year old dog named Norman. And after the reported reunion of Jennifer and ‘former’ ex-lover John Mayer, the actress is now preparing herself to say goodbye to the most loyal male in her life, more loyal than Brad Pitt.

A source told OK Magazine, “Norman is old and hasn’t been doing well.” The magazine claims that Jen’s friend revealed the situation of her friend’s beloved pooch. Jen’s friend added, “She’s terrified her best friend could soon be gone.” Wow, that’s a very sad news.

The source of the magazine also revealed that Jen’s dog is now doing good, but Jennifer is a little paranoid to lose another man. “He’s doing a lot better, but Jen is extremely paranoid about something else going wrong,” explains the insider. “Losing Norman would be a big blow.”

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer NOT Back On

Posted Oct 24th, 2009 in News Rumors0 Comments

There is no truth to mounting reports that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have rekindled their love relationship. In a confirming statement to Gossip Cop, a representative for the movie beauty states the two stars are just friends and have no romantic relationship between them.

The confirmation thus puts to rest earlier report run by Us Weekly that Jennifer and John were back on after dating on and off since 2008. The print media cited an unnamed source as saying, “He really got to her, and she’s hooked on him. She just can’t let go.” Another source close to the rock singer added, “They are very close. They remain great friends. He thinks she’s amazing, nice and smart, and he has nothing but respect for her.” A second source claimed, “There’s something about John that she just can’t resist.”

Us Weekly also reported Jennifer and John were seen enjoying a night out at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City back last month following a separate dinner. The twosome, moreover, was said having dinner with Jennifer’s best friends, Courteney Cox and David Arquette. Though many other media outlets have reported the same thing, neither Jennifer nor John has made a personal comment on the matter.

Jennifer Aniston’s Love Life: The Experts Weigh In

Posted Oct 24th, 2009 in News0 Comments

She’s been characterized in the media as the jilted ex and perpetual singleton—but Jennifer Aniston just might have a shot at true love yet.

In an effort to determine just why Aniston can’t seem to hold onto a man and what she might be able to do about it, PopEater gathered a summit of relationship experts to dissect the former Friends-ter’s relationship prospects.

Their findings are presented below.

Patti Stanger, of Millionaire Matchmaker fame, opines that Aniston needs to stop coupling up with fellow performers—the Vince Vaughns, the John Mayers—and find someone whose own thirst for fame won’t cause complications in their relationship.

“Date a real person, date an entrepreneur, a network exec who makes a bit of money,” Stanger suggests, adding that Aniston’s ideal match is someone who’s “38 and up and maybe wants to have kids.”

Andrea Syrtash, author of the upcoming relationship-advice tome He’s Just Not Your Type (And That’s a Good Thing), agrees that a non-famous face might do Aniston’s love-life good, asserting that partnering up with a low-profile beau would be “invaluable in a world where everyone wants a piece of you.”

And if Aniston should decide to continue dating within her fame bracket, Patrick Meagher, a relationship analyst for SIRIUS XM Cosmo Radio, has an interesting suggestion—Madonna’s ex-husband Guy Ritchie. After Guy’s particularly ugly split with Madonna, Meagher believes that dating Aniston would be “a walk in the park” for Ritchie.

Ah, but how long a walk would it be?

The actress also has a 3-year-old white German shepherd named Dolly.

Jennifer Aniston is The Go-To-Girl For Advice

Posted Oct 11th, 2009 in News0 Comments

Jennifer Aniston says her friends go to her for advice.

The former Friends actress admits she’s the “go-to girl” when her pals are in need.

“My friends come to me in tough times for advice,” she said. “I am the go-to girl a lot but I love that. I love helping friends.

“I’ve been the recipient of great information and advice and a giver of it but when you are in need I think you have got to show up — whether it’s to celebrate or to console or whatever. I think it’s about consistency, loyalty and honesty.”

So what advice would 40-year-old Jen give 20-year-old Jen? “Enjoy life!” Aniston said. “I think we have such angst in our twenties and in out thirties even.

“And if I had felt as good at 30 as I do at 40 I would have probably enjoyed myself a lot more.”

The actress recently insisted she doesn’t need a man in her life — because she’s happy being on her own.

“I don’t think you can plan or control love,” said Brad Pitt’s ex-wife. “I think you have to just be willing to take what comes and however it comes, you know?

“I have a really great relationship with myself and that’s a lifelong process. I have a great job, a great family and great friends. I have my health and I love what I do.”

Jennifer Aniston Feels Pet Pain

Posted Oct 11th, 2009 in News0 Comments

Jennifer Aniston cries when her dog has injections.

The 40-year-old actress hates seeing pet pooch Norman in pain, and walks away if he ever has a shot.

A source told the National Enquirer magazine: “Whenever a vet technician arrives at her home to slip Norman an injection, Jennifer breaks down and flees the room until the deed is done.”

Jennifer rushes back into the room as soon as Norman’s treatment is over to comfort him.

To ease his pain, Jennifer splashes out $250 a week on massage, Reiki and acupuncture treatments.

A source explained: “Norman has been Jennifer’s constant companion during all her emotional upheavals, but he suffers from aching joints and stiffness. Jennifer doesn’t want to put him on medication just yet, so she has opted for doggy spa treatments from a licensed vet technician.”

Jennifer – who has had a string of failed romances following her divorce from Brad Pitt – has previously spoken of her love for Norman.

She said: “It wouldn’t be bad if, when a man comes home, he’d run to his woman with his tail wagging. This sort of excitement is something I’ve always missed in a man to be honest.”
