Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux Adopt a Rescue Dog Together

Posted Feb 18th, 2012 in Articles News2 Comments

While she’s constantly denying pregnancy rumors, Jennifer Aniston can confirm that she and Justin Theroux have recently become parents – to a new puppy.

“Yes,” she told GQ in its March issue. “We got a dog.”

The actress joined her Wanderlust costar and longtime friend Paul Rudd for a joint interview, which began with a proud display of pictures of the rescued pit bull-boxer mix named Sophie.

Aniston further elaborated on her dog situation. “We have one white shepherd [Dolly], but I had another dog [Norman] who died last year,” she said. “We actually have three dead dogs on our mantel right now. The whole mantel is dead dogs. Their ashes. It’s kind of morbid.”

Rudd disagreed. “Morbid would be the way that I first imagined it, with three dogs stuffed on your mantel.”

“Don’t think I didn’t think about it!” Aniston replied. “Or hold his little paw and think, Would it be weird if I turned this into a key chain?”

She didn’t do that, of course, and opted instead to keep Norman’s ashes in memoriam. “What’s interesting is, the dogs,” she said, “tiny little tin can. Not much in there. Big body, big ashes. Little dog, not so much.”

Jennifer Covers GQ Magazine’s March 2012 Issue

Posted Feb 14th, 2012 in Articles Magazines News0 Comments

It had not occurred to me before actually meeting Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd just how long I’d known them. Both have been in the public eye seemingly forever—and in more or less the exact same manifestation (which is to say they both look astonishingly the same as they did two decades ago). So seeing them in physical space is eerily like spotting an acquaintance at an airport. Except, of course, that in a real-life airport, Aniston’s face would be plastered across an array of tabloid covers trumpeting the rumor du jour—most recently that she was pregnant with twins by and/or had eloped with Justin Theroux, Aniston and Rudd’s co-star in the new comedy Wanderlust. (For religious followers of the epic Jen Cycle, this latest coupling with Theroux, seemingly smart, multitalented, and very funny, has been hailed as a high point.)

Rudd and Aniston have known each other even longer than we’ve known them. They met as hopeful young actors living in L.A. and eventually co-starred in the 1998 study in awkwardness The Object of My Affection. Since then, Aniston has been paired on-screen with nearly every funny-man in town. “After a while, you just run out,” Rudd says. So it’s his turn again. We’re at lunch at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel; Rudd is in a long-sleeve T-shirt and jeans, Aniston swaddled against the air-conditioning in a nimbus of brown pashmina. Their long, warm history is evident: They embrace, and immediately Aniston shows off cell-phone photos of her new puppy, a pit bull–boxer rescue named Sophie. It’s all very lovely. So naturally the conversation turns immediately to death.

GQ: Being such longtime friends, is it weird to kiss on-screen?

Jennifer Aniston: Nah. I’ve kissed him for years.

Paul Rudd: We’ve made out for decades.

Jennifer Aniston: It helps that it’s nice. What if you were like, “Well…it was really awkward for me, Jen…”

Paul Rudd: “If we’re putting our cards on the table…”

Jennifer Aniston: “…I asked for a body double.”

GQ: Your new movie, Wanderlust, is about a marriage at a turning point. Paul, you’ve been married for a long time. And Jen, I gather you’ve been married, too?

Jennifer Aniston: That is correct. And I’m now divorced. In case you hadn’t heard.

Paul Rudd: [does spit take] Whaaat?!

GQ: So did some of the issues resonate for you?

Paul Rudd: Sure. I think most marriages, mine included, you’re constantly tending the garden, constantly working at it.

Jennifer Aniston: It’s a growing, literally living thing. There’s going to be growing pains, there’s going to be awkward moments—your lanky phase, your pimpled phase. I think that’s the beauty of a relationship. But if the road starts to…

Paul Rudd: …diverge…

Jennifer Aniston: …and one person is growing this way and the other is growing that way… Sometimes that can happen and you can stay together, and sometimes you can’t.

GQ: Some blog I was reading said you’re the “walking definition of ‘husband material,’ ” Paul. Do you buy that?

Paul Rudd: I think if my wife was at this table right now, she’d do a spit take.

Justin Theroux ‘Happy’ with Jennifer Aniston

Posted Feb 14th, 2012 in Articles News0 Comments

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux may be teaming up onscreen for the new Judd Apatow movie Wanderlust, but it’s their off-screen relationship that people are more interested in. And that’s a subject on which Theroux, at least, is vowing to keep mum.

“I understand the curiosity, but other than saying I am happy, I am not going to indulge it,” Theroux, 40, recently told New York. “That’s building your own torture device.”

For her part, Aniston, 42, recently described herself as feeling joyful and peaceful in the relationship.

The couple, who met on the Wanderlust set and have been seeing each other since last May, moved in together about six months ago.

But while they have no plans to get married or have children anytime soon, according to Aniston, they did recently welcome a new addition – a 3-month-old boxer-pitbull mix named Sophie.

“She’s the most adorable little cookie you’ve ever seen,” Theroux told the magazine of their black-and-white rescue puppy. “She looks like she just smoked an exploding cigar.”

Jennifer Aniston: I Need to Stop ‘Playing it Safe’ on the Red Carpet

Posted Feb 11th, 2012 in Articles News0 Comments

With those sculpted limbs, an army of LBDs and gleaming locks, Jennifer Aniston is timeless — and logic defying.

“I don’t feel my age,” she says in the March issue of InStyle. “I feel young every day. It’s in the spirit.”

Crediting cardio, a balanced diet and an arsenal of must-have products for her looks, the Wanderlust star confesses she is a creature of habit. “On the red carpet, it’s time for me to start doing something different,” she says. “I play it very safe because I just want to be comfortable … if I could wear a jersey tank that went down to the floor, I would.”

The natural brunette is also considering ditching the golden hue that has become her trademark. “I’ve been thinking about dyeing my hair a dark brown,” she says. “I feel it would be healthier.”

But while she approaches beauty with a seasoned pragmatism, Aniston says boyfriend Justin Theroux‘s convictions do not affect her own. ”He has great style,” she confesses. “It’s very specific, and it has been his style forever. Has it influenced mine? No, but I know people say it has.” To read more on Aniston’s fashion philosophy, pick up the March issue of InStyle, on stands Feb. 10.

Jennifer Aniston reveals exercise, diet plan

Posted Feb 11th, 2012 in Articles News0 Comments

Jennifer Aniston has revealed the hard work that goes into maintaining her figure, saying she exercises “at least five or six times a week”.

The 44-year-old actress always travels with fitness equipment and finishes her day with a set of stretches and sit-up at bedtime.

“I work out almost every day, at least five or six days a week. I do 40 minutes of cardio: spinning, running, the elliptical, or a combination of all three. Then I do Pilates one day a week, and I do yoga in addition to that, three days a week. I try to mix it up,” she told the US edition of InStyle magazine.

“I take 8lb [3.6kg] weights with me whenever I’m staying in a hotel. It’s always good to do arm exercises when you’re watching television or talking on the phone. I also love to stretch before I go to bed, and usually throw in a couple of sit-ups.”

Aniston also shared the diet plan she follows to maintain her gorgeous figure.

She follows a high-protein, low-fat eating regime and complements her meals with fish oil, which is known to have numerous health benefits.

“Most of the time I eat things like salmon or other fish, quinoa, lentils, and green vegetables. You’re told to avoid fried food, but I don’t always,” she said.

“I had Mexican the other night and ate everything you can imagine! I also take Omega Cure liquid fish oil and resveratrol, which is supposed to be good for your heart.”

Jennifer Aniston Opens Up About Beau Justin Theroux and Never-Ending Brangelina Triangle

Posted Feb 11th, 2012 in Articles News Rumors0 Comments

Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are not enemies.

That’s the word from the former Friends star at least, who in an interview in InStyle’s March issue, lets it be known once and for all that she doesn’t resent the Oscar winner for coupling up with her ex-hubby Brad Pitt and she’s perfectly content with current boyfriend Justin Theroux.

Here’s what she had to say:

“The triangle with my ex-husband—and that there’s a feud there. It’s constant. It’s a story headline that won’t go away, but it’s a money thing,” Aniston tells the magazine when asked about the constant tabloid headlines claiming enmity between the two.

As for hooking up with Theroux—whom she met while the two starred in the new flick, Wanderlust, an experience she described as one of the most “idyllic” shoots she’s ever had—the thesp reveals that she’s at a “joyful and peaceful” place right now and knows what she’s looking for when it comes to love.

“Having experienced everything you don’t want in a partner over time, it starts to narrow down to what you actually do want,” she notes. “As I get older I realize what qualities are important in love and what suits me. And what I won’t settle for.”

But don’t go thinking the girl who became a fashion icon for giving the world the bouncy “Rachel” ‘do would ever rip off her beau’s fashion sense.

“First of all, he has great style—it’s very specific, and it has been his style forever,” admits Aniston. “Has it influenced mine? No, but I know people say it has. ‘Oh, look, you’re dressing alike.’ And I think, No I’m not. I’ve had this jacket for three years.”

Aniston, who turns 43 on Feb. 11, also revealed she gets a little freaked out about the aging process sometimes—especially when it comes to film roles.

“You know what makes me feel old? When I see girls who are twentysomething, or the new crop of actresses, and think, ‘Aren’t we kind of the same age?’ You lose perspective,” she said. “I don’t feel my age. I feel young every day.”

Jennifer Aniston named ‘Sexiest Woman of All Time’

Posted Dec 11th, 2011 in Articles News1 Comment

Forget that “Sexiest Woman Alive” nonsense. Jennifer Aniston has just been named “Sexiest Woman of All Time” by readers of Men’s Health magazine.

In their explanation of why the 42-year-old “Horrible Bosses” star topped the poll, the editors of Men’s Health wrote, “‘Funny is sexy, and Jennifer Aniston is funny. Her down-to-earth persona makes her seem attainable, and anyone who’s seen her in ‘Office Space’ has to admit she makes even pieces of flair look good.”

Those with a stake in Team Aniston in the Aniston vs. Angelina Jolie war that has raged for nearly six years will be pleased to know that the competition wasn’t even close this time: Jolie is No. 10 on the list.

Aniston also beat out Raquel Welch, Marilyn Monroe, Britney Spears, Madonna, Ursula Andress, Bettie Page, Pamela Anderson and Jane Fonda.

For her part, however, Aniston’s idea of a sexy woman doesn’t exactly gibe with that of the average Men’s Health reader. She told the magazine she would award the title to either Brigitte Bardot or Gloria Steinem.

Though the unlucky-in-love Aniston has recently been stepping out with actor Justin Theroux, she told Elle magazine that she’s in no rush to have a baby with him. Suggesting this particularly sexy genetic line may end with Aniston.

Moviehole on the set of “Horrible Bosses”

Posted Jun 26th, 2011 in Articles Horrible Bosses0 Comments

Promotion for Jennifer’s latest hit, Horrible Bosses has started, and we have new scoop on the set of the film thanks to Moviehole. Check it out, and while you’re at it, make sure you follow us on twitter @JenAnistonWeb for daily Jen updates!

When “Horrible Bosses” director Seth Gordon signed on, he couldn’t have imagined winning the casting lottery. Oh, but he did.

In “Horrible Bosses,” three friends (Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day) find themselves stuck in jobs with bosses (Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey) who are tormenting their lives. Unable to quit, they devise a plan to ‘off’ their employers with the help of a crudely named ex-con Motherf***** Jones (played by Jamie Foxx). The friends’ foolproof plan turns out to be minus the ‘proof.
Director Seth Gordon says the mammoth casting caught him unexpected. “It just got a snowball effect. More and more folks wanted to be involved and they were all great for the parts and I think unexpected in many cases. I think that that’s really going to be exciting to have most of our folks trying their hand at a slightly different thing.”

When Moviehole joined the cast on set on location in Los Angeles at an all-American bar and restaurant, Jason Bateman was yet to film much of his interaction with his character’s twisted boss played by Kevin Spacey, though he had little doubt of Spacey’s ability to create an intimidating psychopath. “He is very intense about what he does and it’s certainly perfect for this character, so I’m obviously looking forward to working with him, he’s one of the best we’ve got.”
