When “Horrible Bosses” director Seth Gordon signed on, he couldn’t have imagined winning the casting lottery. Oh, but he did.

In “Horrible Bosses,” three friends (Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day) find themselves stuck in jobs with bosses (Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey) who are tormenting their lives. Unable to quit, they devise a plan to ‘off’ their employers with the help of a crudely named ex-con Motherf***** Jones (played by Jamie Foxx). The friends’ foolproof plan turns out to be minus the ‘proof.
Director Seth Gordon says the mammoth casting caught him unexpected. “It just got a snowball effect. More and more folks wanted to be involved and they were all great for the parts and I think unexpected in many cases. I think that that’s really going to be exciting to have most of our folks trying their hand at a slightly different thing.”

When Moviehole joined the cast on set on location in Los Angeles at an all-American bar and restaurant, Jason Bateman was yet to film much of his interaction with his character’s twisted boss played by Kevin Spacey, though he had little doubt of Spacey’s ability to create an intimidating psychopath. “He is very intense about what he does and it’s certainly perfect for this character, so I’m obviously looking forward to working with him, he’s one of the best we’ve got.”

Jennifer Aniston looked hot in Tom Ford, Calvin Klein, and Michael Kors this morning on her way to do press for Horrible Bosses at NYC’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston were together to visit Inside the Actors Studio last night, but today she had leading men Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, and Jason Bateman along with director Seth Gordon and screenwriter Michael Markowitz to chat about the dark comedy out on July 8. Jen joked about the less-than-ideal management and jobs from her past and confessed that she didn’t really mind tackling the dirty-talking role of Julia Harris, a dentist who doesn’t seem to respect the boundaries of workplace sexual harassment. Some of her funniest scenes are with Charlie, who didn’t have to do much acting when it came to being shocked by Jen’s character. They said:

Do you have any particularly awful bosses that stick out in your mind?
Jason Bateman: I’ve never had a bad one.
Jennifer Aniston: I had one that was inconsistent and a little complicated but not horrible.

Jennifer, did you have any hesitations about taking on such a filthy-talking role? And is there a shift toward gorgeous women saying dirty things?
JA: I know I had no hesitation, to answer that question. At all.
